Art is Fun

The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts just opened their new children's wing. I was Dusty's date to the Grand Opening. It was a lot of fun. We met up with Will and Katie while we were there and munched on as much cheese and deserts as we could. There were these great little personal cheesecakes with strawberries on it. They were delicious!!! They also had these martini glasses filled with shrimp or sushi, your choice... which I chose neither. Upon entrance we did get free champagne, which everyone left whereever they pleased... making new pieces of art.

Dusty's enjoying some refreshments inside a walk-through exhibit that she helped create this last summer. Employees of ASF that stayed in Alabama last summer for their time off could choose to work on the musieum installment. They brought to life a famous painting.

This next picture is of Katie enjoying one of the kid's tables in the fun zone. She's a little too big for the table and chair but not for the fun!

Hi Jess :)
I really like the painting of the flower. It's beautiful :) It sounds like it was a great grand opening. I'm glad you had so much fun and free refreshments. Have a great week :)
